For Attendees

Attendee Information

The Federal Planning Division (FPD) is a worldwide network of planning professionals dedicated to protecting and enhancing federal properties while improving the quality of life for persons who live, work, and use federal lands and facilities. The FPD Annual Training Workshop offers invaluable learning, networking, and professional development opportunities for planners at U. S. federal agencies, state agencies who foster relationships with and do business with federal agencies, contractors, and students. But it’s not just about attending – it’s about actively contributing and shaping the future of federal planning.

More than 500 Planners are expected again this year who are there to earn AICP Certification Maintenance (CM) credits, continue their professional development, connect with planning peers working across diverse federal agencies and other organizations worldwide, and lean about solutions and services from sponsor companies.

The sessions will not be recorded this year, so planners must attend in person to earn AICP CM credits. More than 60 sessions will be offered, including sessions covering hot topics and trends, technologies, and sessions focused for planners from every federal agency, including DoD agencies, GSA, NASA, CDC, Federal Highway Administration, and many others.

IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ:

If you are a GOVERNMENT ATTENDEE OR SPEAKER, we encourage you to pre-register for the Training Workshop by 28 February 2025 (to secure the early bird registration rate). You can select the payment option “send an invoice” (instead of credit card) to pay the registration fee later if you need to wait for funding approval. Please note, all pre-registrations must be FULLY PAID by Sunday, March 30, 2025. You can register later or onsite, but late or onsite fees will apply.

Make sure to book your hotel room now at the Westin Westminster to get the Workshop rate of $199 (Government Per Diem rate is $215 starting 1 April 2025). All hotel bookings will be verified against the Training Workshop registration list. If you do not have a registration record (paid or balance due), by 14 March 2025, your room reservation may be cancelled.
